Job Description

The Department of Food Science and Technology at the National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications from outstanding candidates for tenure-track faculty appointments at the Assistant, Associate and Full Professor levels. We welcome candidates working across emerging and interdisciplinary areas of food science, human nutrition, urban agriculture, fermentation, smart engineering and artificial intelligence (AI) whose research addresses current and future challenges in food, health and sustainability.
Tenure-Track Faculty Positions:
Applicants should possess a PhD degree in a related field from an internationally reputable university. Postdoctoral experience of at least 2 years is required and industrial experience is highly valued. Appointee will be expected to establish an independent research programme that can compete strongly for external funding. In addition, the appointee is expected to guide research students, and teach undergraduate and postgraduate subjects. Selection will be based on applicant's track record of relevant accomplishments and potential for outstanding future contributions.
Remuneration:
Remuneration will be internationally competitive and includes eligibility for annual performance bonus and salary increment, subsidised housing, medical benefits, and substantial research support.
