Duties Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Safely handle food and beverage items during delivery from kitchen to table, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and supporting guest needs with friendly, in-person customer service. Transport food orders efficiently using safe manual handling practices, including heavy lifting when necessary. Maintain cleanliness in all service areas by cleaning floors, wiping surfaces, and managing trash disposal regularly. Support kitchen staff by delivering food orders promptly while following proper food handling procedures. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy when needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during busy hours or banquet events. Uphold food safety standards through proper food running techniques and attentive guest interactions. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest requests promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential! Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices is a plus. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices. Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Familiarity with culinary or kitchen operations can enhance your effectiveness in the role. Previous banquet or hotel experience is beneficial but not mandatory; a positive attitude and team spirit are most important!
