Experienced Food Service Professional Sunday Morning Breakfast Rush

Job Summary Big L's Bagels is looking for a Bagel Artist to help conquer our busiest shift of the week: Sunday mornings. This is not a casual food service position. Every Sunday, it feels like the entire city decides they want breakfast at the exact same time. The pace is fast, the line moves quickly, and customers expect great food and friendly service even when the pressure is on. We're looking for someone who can stay calm, move with urgency, communicate well, and take pride in serving quality food.

The ideal candidate:

Has previous food service, restaurant, café, deli, or kitchen experience Is comfortable interacting with customers while preparing food Can multitask without sacrificing quality Works clean and stays organized under pressure Shows up on time and ready to work Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic Understands that Sunday mornings are game time What you'll be doing: Building breakfast sandwiches and bagel orders Assisting customers with orders and questions Maintaining a clean and organized workstation Working as part of a small team during high-volume periods Helping create an exceptional customer experience

Schedule:

Primary need is Sunday mornings. Additional shifts may be available after training and successful completion of the trial period.

Pay:

$16/hr + tips (which are substantial if you can handle the pressure)
