Banquet-Events Set Up Req #1248 100 N Hayford Rd, Airway Heights, WA 99001, USA Apply Share Job Description Posted Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 6:00 AM Summary of Functions Ensure all set up requirements are followed according to the banquet or event contract, set up sheets, and diagrams, in addition to the maintenance and cleanliness of the banquet areas and equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians - Internal Controls, and Northern Quest Policies and Procedures. Include setting up tables and chairs, loading and unloading equipment to, from and into the building in accordance with a room diagram. This may include but not be limited to arranging chairs, tables, temporary staging, skirting, and curtains to meet the requirements of a particular or special event under the direction of the Pavilion department. Inventory all equipment before returning to proper storage. Cleaning the pavilion in accordance with guidelines set by management and supervisors. Bring to the attention of supervisors and/or management any notice of damaged or improper working equipment or damaged facility (walls, etc.) at the end of shift for immediate repair. Responsible for setting up and taking down tables, dance floor, props, etc. Responsible for maintaining a good attendance record. Ensures the highest possible standards of guest satisfaction and Team Member relations are maintained and carried out in a fair and equitable manner in an environment conducive to that goal. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Experience This position has no experience required, will train new employees. Skills & Abilities Must be able to read and interpret instructions from manuals as well as measure distances and heights accurately. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Other Requirements Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Work Permit. Valid Driver's License (Must be in possession while operating a Tribal Vehicle). Attends defensive driving class. May also be asked to attend seminars or training classes on specific equipment. Available and willing to make any changes in hours including evenings and night hours deemed necessary for business levels.
