Simply put, we need someone who's willing to find things to do during the slow times, which right now tends to be the 5pm-6pm hour as its still sunny most days. We need someone who can work Tuesday - Friday nights starting at 5pm and going as late as 9pm Tue-Thu and as late as 10pm on Friday although you would rarely be on till close. This isn't a long shift, but it can be extremely busy and you are acting as a host, answering phones (rarely, but it happens), bussing and resetting tables, sweeping/cleaning, entering in and bagging up togo orders, etc. So, its a lot! This is a great position for someone wanting to learn to serve or bartend, everyone in our FOH team has 15-20+ years waiting tables and tending bar and the manager teaches bartending for a school as a side job. Tons of talent on this team to learn from, amazing Italian food, and pay on a bad day is usually$25/hr, on a good day as much as double! You do occasionally get sent home early when things are slow, so hours aren't exactly guaranteed, but we try to find things for people to do. ABOVE ALL, far more important than anything else mentioned above, we want someone who gives a damn! The one thing that will kill you working here is a "good enough" attitude.
