Hiring Support Staff: Host, Busser, Food Runner- Aerlume Seattle

We are looking for versatile, enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn and grow within our team. We are currently hiring for the following support roles:

HostAs a Host, you are the first and last impression our guests carry with them. You set the tone for the entire dining experience with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.

ResponsibilitiesWelcome and greet guests upon arrival, creating a warm and inviting first impressionManage reservations and the waitlist using the restaurant's reservation systemSeat guests thoughtfully, taking into account server rotation, table availability, and special requestsCommunicate clearly with the service team regarding table status, guest needs, and special occasionsManage the flow of the dining room during peak service periodsAnswer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a polished and professional mannerAssist with coatcheck, menus, and other guest-facing tasks as neededMaintain a tidy and welcoming host stand and entrance area throughout serviceQualificationsPrevious hosting or front-of-house experience in a restaurant setting preferredExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsWarm, poised, and professional demeanorStrong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a high-energy environmentFamiliarity with reservation platforms (Seven Rooms, OpenTable,or similar) an assetFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysBusserAs a Busser, you will work closely with our service team to maintain the flow and efficiency of the dining room while ensuring every guest feels well cared for. Responsibilities include serving water, bread, and butter and refilling as needed; clearing plates and utensils between courses; resetting tables; assisting waitstaff with hot beverages; and maintaining clean, organized, and well-stocked workstations. Food RunnerAs a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by bridging the kitchen and the dining room with precision and care.
