  • Paid training and development opportunities Job Summary As a cashier you will fill a guest services role in supporting your hotel's financial goals of the daily operation of the employee break room and/or other areas of the Food and Beverage departments.
You will greet guests and take orders, maintaining an efficient flow of customers. Responsibilities Complete cash transactions on the register as provided in the cash handling procedures. Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner. This involves listening to the nature of the concern, demonstrating empathy with the customer and providing positive and proactive solutions. Effectively deal with and resolve conflict situations, such as inaccurate checks. Maintains clean and organized work areas to maximize efficiency Assist in prepping food for the line Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction. Performs pre and post-shift side work including stock service station makes coffee etc. Basic mathematical skills necessary to operated a cash register, make change, total guests checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges and understand portion sizes as relating to pricing. Physical activities include walking, talking, standing, hearing, seeing, touching, fingering, feeling, grasping, reaching, handling, bending, lifting, carrying, writing, grasping, bending, stretching, balancing, pushing, pulling.
