Position Summary:

Stone Harbor Resort & Conference Center is seeking dependable, hard-working individuals to join our Banquet & Event Setup team. This role is essential to ensuring our conferences, weddings, and special events are executed smoothly and professionally. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, team-minded, and capable of physical work in a dynamic environment. We offer flexible scheduling and a supportive workplace culture in one of Door County's premier event venues.

Primary Responsibilities:

Set up and tear down banquet rooms and event spaces according to event specifications Move and arrange tables, chairs, stages, dance floors, and other event furnishings Prepare audiovisual equipment and ensure proper placement as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces before, during, and after events Ensure setups are completed accurately and on time, following floorplans and instructions Assist banquet and catering staff with room transitions and guest needs during events Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines Communicate effectively with the Events Manager, Banquet Captain, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of each event

Qualifications:

Ability to lift, move, and carry equipment and furniture (up to 50 lbs.) Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Excellent teamwork, time management, and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and a positive, service-oriented attitude Prior event setup or hospitality experience is preferred, but not required—training will be provided
