Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide excellent customer service while serving patrons of the Cafe and making sure guests have a positive dining experience. The Cafe Attendant will perform daily duties such as: stocking and prepping food options, cashing out patrons and managing the register, maintaining a clean dining area by busing tables and returning trays and utensils, and assist patrons with any dining needs. The Cafe attendant may also assist in seating and serving guest for special events and evening performances as scheduled. Essential Functions Statement(s) 1. Provide customer satisfaction for all guests and employees through friendly and courteous service. 2. Operate POS system, run a register and maintain a cash drawer. 3. Maintain a hygienic work space, including clearing tables and general cleaning. 4. Ensure coolers and shelves are properly stocked with a variety of food and beverages. 5. Assist in opening and closing procedures of the cafe. 6. This position and its functions may vary, and additional job-related responsibilities may be added as necessary.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Working towards a high school diploma or bachelor's degreeExperience:
One to two years related experience preferredComputer Skills:
POS and related operating software proficiencyOther Requirements:
Ability to articulate well and communicate positively with guests to establish their needs efficiently and courteously. Skill to handle cash responsibly and accurately. Working knowledge of POS systems and/or an eagerness to learn. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Attention to detail.SKILLS & ABILITIES
