Meat Butcher

Overview Mason Hills Farm is hiring a full-time Butcher to support meat processing and retail operations in a USDA-inspected facility. This role is responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products for retail and wholesale while maintaining strict quality, safety and sanitation standards. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced production environment. We are looking for someone experienced, reliable, and committed to consistency and precision. Responsibilities Meat Cutting Cut, trim, and portion beef, pork, and other meats to company standards Prepare retail-ready cuts and custom orders Maintain consistency in portioning, yield, and presentation Production Support Assist with processing workflow as needed Support grinding and value-added production when required Work alongside production team to maintain daily throughput Food Safety & Compliance Follow all USDA, HACCP, and sanitation protocols Maintain clean, organized, and inspection-ready work areas Accurately follow labeling and handling procedures Qualifications Previous experience as a butcher or meat cutter required Strong knife skills and knowledgable of meat fabrication Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly Comfortable working in cold environments Strong attention to detail and consistency Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work in a team-oriented, production-focused environment

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
