Butcher/Meat Cutter experience preferred. As a Meat Cutter/Counter Clerk, you will be essential in delivering high-quality meat products and exceptional customer service in our local grocery store. You will utilize your knife skills, butcher saw experience, and culinary experience to prepare various meat items while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will partner with the butcher to ensure food is stored and prepared to health code standards. This includes ensuring equipment is regularly inspected, cleaned, and maintained. Additionally, your familiarity with food safety regulations and Food Handler Certification will be crucial in upholding our commitment to quality and safety. Will help with the meat and deli counter, including and not limited to making sandwiches, pizzas, and prepping food. Meat cutter experience is preferred but not required. We can train the right candidate. Lifting is required. Food Handler's Certificate required.
