In this role, you will be responsible for expertly cutting, trimming, and preparing various types of meat products to ensure quality, safety, and presentation standards are met. Your skills will directly contribute to delivering fresh, high-quality meat products to our customers while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about the food industry, culinary arts, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare different cuts of meat using knives and specialized equipment, ensuring precision and consistency. Follow food safety protocols and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe workspace at all times. Package meat products efficiently for retail display or wholesale distribution, ensuring proper labeling and presentation. Assist customers with their selections by providing knowledgeable advice on meat cuts and preparation options. Maintain inventory levels by organizing stock and notifying management of low supplies or quality concerns. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while adhering to safety guidelines. Ensure all meat handling procedures comply with food industry regulations and company policies. Skills Proven experience in food production, food preparation, or kitchen environments, particularly with meat cutting or butchery. Strong knife skills and proficiency in meat cutting techniques to produce high-quality cuts. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices within the food industry. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to assist customers effectively and courteously. Experience in packaging, labeling, and presenting meat products attractively for retail or wholesale purposes. Familiarity with culinary processes related to meat preparation and kitchen experience is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
