This role involves working in a fast-paced environment to ensure the highest quality of meat products for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong attention to safety and hygiene standards, and excellent customer service skills. Prior experience in food production, meat cutting, or culinary settings is preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling and preparation within a reputable retail or grocery environment. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and packaging of meat products, ensuring they meet quality standards Operate meat cutting tools and equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and slicers Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area in compliance with food safety regulations Properly handle, store, and rotate meat products to ensure freshness and safety Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering product recommendations Support inventory management by stocking shelves and organizing displays Follow all food safety protocols and guidelines during food handling and preparation Requirements Prior experience in food production, food preparation, or kitchen environments is preferred Knowledge of meat cutting techniques, knife skills, and food safety standards is highly desirable Experience with packaging, food handling, and maintaining cleanliness in a food industry setting is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols Previous restaurant or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed This position offers an engaging environment for individuals passionate about the culinary arts and food industry standards.
