The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing various types of meat products for sale, ensuring high-quality standards and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Cut, trim, and package meat products according to specifications and customer requests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food safety standards. Operate various meat cutting tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selections and answering any questions they may have. Monitor inventory levels of meat products and communicate needs to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations in the meat department. Qualifications Proven experience in meat cutting or food preparation is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate! Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques. Proficient in using knives and other cutting tools safely. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all tasks. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
