Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Meat Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our meat products are properly processed and cut for our customers. This position requires hours of standing in below 50 degree rooms. Duties Breaking down sides of beef and pork using large band saws and other equipment. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the meat preparation area, adhering to food safety guidelines. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation within the department. Employees are responsible for complying with all applicable food safety, regulatory, and GMP requirements relevant to their assigned duties. Employees are required to promptly report any actual or potential food safety concerns to management. Employees are empowered to take appropriate action to address food safety issues within the limits of their job responsibilities. Employees must complete all required food safety training and demonstrate understanding of their food safety responsibilities. Experience Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks in a busy environment. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
