We're committed to sustainable practices, and traditional craftsmanship. In addition to butchering, we produce a variety of house-made products including sausages, meat sticks, cured meats, and sandwiches We are currently seeking a full-time Butcher & Customer Service position for our team. No prior butchery experience is required — this is a hands-on position with training provided. We're looking for someone eager to learn, excited about working with food, and motivated to be part of a positive, collaborative team. We are looking for someone friendly, and eager to help customers. What You'll Do Learn and assist with butchering of beef, pork, chicken, and more Trim, debone, and portion meat under guidance from experienced butchers Help produce sausages, meat sticks, smoked, and cured meats Help make sandwiches and other Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness Operate and learn to use equipment such as grinders, stuffers, saws, and vacuum sealers Ensure proper labeling, rotation, and storage of products Keep workstations clean and organized Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals Provide excellent customer service at the meat counter as needed What We're Looking For No butchery experience required — we will train the right person Strong interest in learning a skilled trade and working with food Positive attitude and willingness to take direction and ask questions Ability to lift/move up to 75 lbs and work on your feet in cold temperatures Attention to detail and respect for quality craftsmanship Dependability, punctuality, and teamwork mindset Ability to follow food safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Preferred (But Not Required) Background or interest in food, cooking, or hands-on work Curiosity about whole-animal butchery, charcuterie, or sustainability Passion for locally sourced food and nose-to-tail philosophy Why Join Us?
