Salary:

$45,000-$55,000 per year , based on experience, with additional opportunities for bonuses, advancement, and long-term growth. Responsibilities Meat Department Assist with cutting, trimming, grinding, packaging, and preparing fresh meat products. Wrap, label, and stock meat displays while maintaining product quality and freshness. Learn proper meat-cutting techniques and food preparation. Help customers with special orders and custom cuts. Monitor inventory and rotate products to ensure freshness. Clean and sanitize equipment, workstations, and preparation areas. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures. Perishable Departments Stock and merchandise produce, deli, dairy, prepared foods, and other refrigerated products. Build and maintain attractive, fully stocked displays. Receive deliveries and organize products in coolers and storage areas. Rotate inventory using first-in, first-out (FIFO) practices. Check product quality, freshness, and expiration dates. Help prepare grab-and-go or value-added products as needed. Assist customers with product questions and recommendations. Keep sales floors, coolers, and work areas clean, organized, and well stocked. General Responsibilities Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service. Work as part of a team to keep departments running efficiently. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Follow all company policies and food safety regulations. Assist other departments when needed. Qualifications Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Reliable and dependable. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Grocery, food service, butcher, deli, or produce experience is a plus but not required—we're happy to train the right person. Weekend availability preferred.
