Job Description

Cecchi's Bar and Grill, in the heart of the vibrant West Village, is seeking a Tournant to join our professional team. Created by owner and operator, Michael Cecchi-Azzolina, Cecchi's Bar and Grill is committed to culinary excellence, inviting ambiance, and unparalleled customer experience. Lauded in Eater as one of the hottest restaurants in NYC, and featured in New York Magazine, The New Yorker, Time Out, and many others, Cecchi's is packed each evening with our incredible guests. With over 25 years' experience in New York City fine dining, he leads a team of true professional in a safe and kind work environment. We are looking for a skilled tournant — a cook of uncommon range — to rotate through all stations in our kitchen. You are the person who makes the line unbreakable. When a station needs you, you are already there: composed, prepared, and precise. This is not a stepping-stone position. It is a craft in itself, and we treat it as one. 2+ years of line cook experience in a high-volume or fine dining kitchen Strong command of classical technique across multiple stations Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment Ability to stand for 8-10 hours and lift up to 20 lbs occasionally Calm, focused, and reliable under pressure Exceptional knife skills and palate development Team-first mentality — ego stays at the door Food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain) Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
