Duties Wrap, package, and label various cuts of meat with precision and care to maintain freshness and presentation standards Ensure all meat products are handled in accordance with food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines Assist with meat cutting and trimming to meet customer specifications or store requirements Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas to uphold hygiene standards Support inventory management by rotating stock and monitoring product expiration dates Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about meat products and offering cooking or preparation tips when needed Follow all safety procedures related to knife skills, meat handling, and food production processes Skills Proven experience in food production, food preparation, or kitchen environments, especially within the food industry or restaurant settings Strong knife skills and knowledge of meat cutting techniques for efficient product processing Familiarity with packaging methods suitable for retail or wholesale meat products Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Previous experience in culinary roles or kitchen experience is highly desirable Join us as a Meat Wrapper and become an integral part of delivering fresh, quality meats that delight our customers!
