This position will assist the butcher and production team with preparing meat products for processing and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working in a cold environment, and able to perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced production setting. Responsibilities Assist the butcher with unpacking and preparing meat products for cutting and processing Transport products and materials throughout the production area Remove and dispose of meat scraps and waste properly Clean workstations, equipment, tools, and production areas Maintain sanitation and food safety standards at all times Assist with stocking supplies and organizing inventory Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements Support production needs as assigned by supervisors Requirements Previous warehouse, food production, or meat processing experience preferred Ability to work in refrigerated/cold temperatures Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently Comfortable standing, bending, and moving throughout the shift Strong attendance and reliability required Must be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
