General Manager Description:

Responsible for cutting, preparing, and presenting meat products for retail and kitchen use, ensuring quality, safety, and consistency.

Responsibilities:

• Cut, trim, and portion meats (beef, pork, chicken)
• Prepare display cases with fresh products
• Grind meat and prepare specialty cuts (if applicable)
• Maintain proper storage and temperature control
• Follow foods safety and sanitation standards
• Manage inventory and minimize waste
• Assist customers with meat selection and custom cuts
• Coordinate with kitchen for daily needs

Requirements:

• 3 + years of experience of butchery experience preferred
• Knowledge of meat cuts and handling
• Knife skills (advanced)
• Ability to work in cold environments

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 60lbs
• Standard for long periods
• Handle sharp tools safety.
