Job Responsibilities & Duties:

Prepare meat into forms ready for cooking using a variety of actions including boning, tying, grinding, cutting & trimming. Sharpen & adjust your own knives & cutting equipment Cut, debone & grind meat Weight & wrap meats Cut & prepare meats into specifications of customer cut sheet Clean equipment to get ready for sanitation worker Keep work areas and hands clean Always wear white coat and cap/hairnet when in work areas Uphold strenuous tagging/tracking process Practice safe usage of all equipment Other duties specified by management

Job Skills and Qualifications:

Strong English communication required Minimum 1 year experience as whole animal butcher Must be a team player Knowledge of food safety Be able to stand for long periods of time, lift & move heavy carcasses and boxes Withstand cold environments Ability to work with efficiency Ability to stay organized in busy environment Detail oriented Good personal hygiene
