Job Description
Position Overview The Meat Wrapper handles meat products by weighing, wrapping, pricing, and labeling them, while maintaining a clean work area and stocking shelves. They provide attentive and courteous customer service and follow safety and sanitation regulations. Responsibilities Ensure accurate pricing and proper processing of meat products. Follow federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies. Maintain case conditions through cleaning, stocking, and rotating products to minimize shrink. Deliver friendly customer service and perform tasks as directed by management. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of different meat cuts and basic math skills. Physical ability to stand, lift, push, and handle loads up to 100 lbs, with exposure to various temperatures. Experience in retail or meat departments preferred. Ability to operate wrapping machines, scales, and other equipment. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and excellent customer service skills in a retail environment.
