• Position Overview:

• This role is responsibleforensuring the meat cases are well
• stocked with fresh, high
• quality meat and poultry products\.

Receivesstock, cuts, grinds, wraps, weighs, prices, andmerchandisesmeat department productsto department specifications\.Mayorder and stock prepackaged deli items and frozen food products that fall under the meat department\.Ensuresproper inventory control and product rotation to maximize product freshness\.Perform duties thatcomply withlocal health code and follow proper safety procedures and standards\.This position requires working weekends and holidays based on department staffing requirements\.

• Here's what you'll do:
• + Receive and fulfill all customer orders + Wrap, weigh, label and display all meat merchandise + Stock display case and rotate merchandise as requested + Assist customers with all inquiries and requests + Operate machinery by following proper department production and safety standards, as needed + Conducts inventories and cycle counts as required + Follows safe food handling and local health department standards\.

+ Maintains a safe work environment for employees, vendors and customers\. + Sustains a high level of product knowledge and product preparation work toward continuous quality improvement + Grind and trim meat upon customer's request + Inspect and reassemble equipment for use and perform routine maintenance as assigned + Clean and sanitize work area, equipment and utensils in compliance with health code + Demonstrate excellent customer service standards + Work toward continuous quality improvement + Ensures accurate pricing by placing the corresponding price and ingredient labels on each package + Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines + Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations + Follow Guest Experience Guidelines + May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need + Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed

• Here's what you'll need:
• + High school graduate or equivalent \(GED\) + Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents + Basic mathematical skills + Suggestive Selling/Knowledge of Products preferred + Detail Oriented + Basic computer skills \(email, spreadsheets, etc\.\)
