Job Description

Overview D/R Casino Supervisor A D/R Casino Supervisor is responsible for providing an entertaining experience for guests while dealing casino games according to the rules of the game being played. This position will also dual rate up to a supervisor position as needed. Responsibilities Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures. Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees. Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service. While functioning as
Dealer:
Deals assigned game in accordance with established policy and procedure. Conducts the assigned game in accordance with
CCC / DGE
regulations and procedures. While functioning as
Casino Supervisor:
Directly supervises operation and conduct of
  • CRAPS games at not more than two (2) Craps tables while standing Floor or one (1) Craps table and one (1) Blackjack, Roulette or Mini-Baccarat, or one (1)Craps table if sitting Box.
  • BLACKJACK, ROULETTE, CARIBBEAN STUD POKER, LET IT RIDE, THREE CARD POKER
    at not more than four (4) tables of a combination thereof.
  • BACCARAT, PAI GOW TILE
    at not more than one (1) table.
PAI GOW POKER
at not more than two (2) tables. Settles disputes which might arise at gaming tables between customers and dealers. Directly supervises the operation and conduct of the number and type of table games. Responsible for providing on the job training, including service enhancement techniques. Responsible for assigning and/or reassigning dealers to other games in the event of a game closure, patron complaint, or performance issues. Responsible for enforcing company policies with the authority to issue appropriate discipline up to and including written disciplinary action notices. Accountable for the development and performance of dealers, including the issuance of annual performance evaluations. Responsible for rewarding dealers with commendations and making recommendations for Employee Recognition programs. Settles customer disputes which may arise at gaming tables. Ensures compliance with
CCC / DGE
regulations, company policies & procedures and internal controls. Performs any other duties as assigned. Qualifications Knowledgeable of all casino game rules and
CCC / DGE
regulations for game(s) under supervision. Strong supervisory skills, and must possess demonstrated leadership ability among peers. Two (2) or more years total experience as a dealer, box person, floor person, pit manager, or instructor in a licensed New Jersey gaming school Pay Range USD $28.12 - USD $28.12 /Hr.
