About The Role Champions Club is looking for a professional, engaging, and experienced Poker Dealer to join our Poker Operations team. Our Dealers are responsible for efficiently operating assigned poker games, including shuffling and dealing cards, managing betting action and pots, reading hands at showdown, awarding pots to the appropriate winner, and clearly communicating house rules and procedures while maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and pace of every game. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Texas Hold'em, Omaha, and Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) , understands basic poker tournament procedures, and is comfortable performing accurate chip and pot calculations in a fast-paced environment. Above all, our Dealers should bring professionalism, integrity, strong communication skills, and a hospitality-driven mindset to create a welcoming and elevated poker experience for every Champions Club member and guest. •This is a Part Time position, working approximately 15-25 hours per week.•Responsibilities Follow all gaming rules, company policies, and procedures. Knowledge of all poker games and rules of how to deal them. Exchange paper currency for playing chips or coin money. Explain and interpret house rules, such as game rules and betting limits, for patrons. Pay winnings or collect losing bets as established by the rules and procedures of poker. Deal cards to players and compare these with other players' hands to determine winners. Start and control games and gaming equipment and announce winning hands. Open and close table games as directed. Verify identification of customers when needed. Perform paperwork required for monetary transactions. Report customer-related incidents occurring in gaming areas to managers and department heads. Perform other job-related duties as requested. Empathetically address issues in a professional manner. Experience & Qualifications Must be 21 years or older. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. 6 months of Poker Dealing experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Knowledge and experience with Texas Hold 'em, Omaha, and PLO is preferred. Basic Poker Tournament policies and standard procedure knowledge is required. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and basic mathematical skills. Strong knowledge of poker rules, game protection, tournament operations, and Title 31 reporting. Exceptional leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and guest service skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills. Exemplary time and resource management, including good attendance cadence is required. Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
