In this vital role, you will assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, and maintaining a vibrant, efficient work environment. Your expertise in fine dining, food production, and team supervision will help deliver memorable culinary experiences to our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your culinary career within one of Anchorage's most beloved neighborhood establishments. Duties Assist in overseeing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet high standards of quality and consistency Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment Manage inventory control and food safety procedures to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation standards are maintained Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery and excellent service Support menu planning and recipe development aligned with restaurant concepts and guest preferences Monitor shift management activities, including scheduling, staffing levels, and workflow optimization Maintain compliance with health regulations and safety protocols across all kitchen operations Experience Proven supervisory experience within a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment Extensive culinary experience with a focus on fine dining or upscale service settings Strong background in food production, food handling, and kitchen management practices Familiarity with inventory management systems and cost control techniques Experience in butchery as well as expediting is highly desirable Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively Knowledge of food safety standards, dietary accommodations, and hospitality industry best practices Join us to lead with passion in a vibrant culinary environment where your skills will inspire excellence!
