Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality sushi dishes to our customers. If you have a passion for culinary arts and enjoy creating delicious sushi creations, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

• Prepare and present sushi dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
• Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of sushi ingredients
• Stay updated on current industry trends and techniques related to sushi preparation

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in the food industry
• Knowledge of various sushi types, ingredients, and presentation techniques
• Proficient knife skills for precise cutting and slicing of fish and other ingredients
• Strong understanding of food handling, hygiene, and safety practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
