Job Description:
Hospitality Head Chef sought by C2K Inc in the City of Industry, CA to Instruct cooks in the prep'n, cooking, garnishing, or presentation of food. Check the qlty of received products. Inspect supplies, eqpmt, or work areas to ensure conformance to established stds. Determine how food should be presented & create decorative food displays. Collab w/ other personnel to plan recipes or menus, taking into account such factors as seasonal availability of ingredients or the likely number of customers. Plan or supv food prep'n or cooking activities of multiple kitchens or restaurants in an establishment such as a restaurant chain, hospital, or hotel. Demonstrate new cooking techniques or eqpmt to staff. Check the qlty of raw or cooked food products to ensure that stds are met. Meet w/ sales representatives to negotiate prices or order supplies. Prep & cook foods of all types, either on a regular basis or for special guests or functions. Candidate should have a U.S HS diploma or its foreign equiv & twenty-four mths of exp in the rltd field. 40hrs/wk.
