You're excited to work with a variety of desserts, breads, and specialty items, and you bring a team-oriented mindset to every shift. As a Pastry Cook, you will plan, prep, bake, and present a wide variety of pastries and desserts while maintaining the highest standards of quality and sanitation. This includes preparing plated desserts, buffets, breads, and specialty menus, as well as supporting offsite events through careful preparation and organization. You'll also ensure that recipes are followed precisely, stations are clean and efficient, and that you're upholding the company's commitment to excellence. Professional, enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player. Prepare pastries, breads, desserts, and specialty menu items according to recipes and portion standards. Follow BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) and production schedules to prepare for events. Set up and maintain an organized workstation with required mise en place, tools, and supplies. Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards (federal, state, and local). Operate ovens, mixers, and other pastry equipment safely and effectively. Work with special food requirements (e.g., vegan, gluten-free). Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen and equipment. Assist with inventory management and notify chefs of low stock or broken equipment. Maintain positive guest and team relations; resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. 1-2 years of kitchen experience or enrollment in a culinary education program (6+ months). Must possess a valid California Food Handler's Card. ServSafe Certification required within 30 days of hire.Pay Range:
