We are looking for a leader who balances administrative precision with a genuine passion for culinary innovation. The ideal candidate will be a steady presence in our large kitchen, fostering a culture of focus and excellence while working side-by-side with our talented crew to ensure every plate meets our exacting standards.
The Perks & Compensation:
Salary:
Up to $85,000 base salary, plus a performance-based bonus structure.

Opportunity:

In this position, you will partner closely with the Executive Chef to manage the daily "Heart of the House" operations. Beyond just overseeing the line during peak services, you will be expected to bring a creative flair to our kitchen, contributing to menu development and daily specials that keep our offerings fresh and exciting. Your role is pivotal in maintaining the efficiency of a large-scale kitchen, requiring a sharp eye for detail and a "lead-by-example" mentality.
Primary Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
Manage inventory, strategic ordering, and labor scheduling to maintain optimal kitchen performance.
Culinary Creativity:
Drive the creative evolution of our menu by developing innovative specials and refining seasonal dishes.
Hands-on Execution:
Lead the line during high-volume services, ensuring technical perfection and consistency across all stations.
Team Development:
Oversee and mentor a large prep and line crew, maintaining high energy and professional standards throughout the shift.
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience in a high-volume, high-quality restaurant environment is essential. Strong administrative proficiency in production planning and cost management. A sophisticated palate and the ability to contribute creatively to a diverse menu. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to maintain composure under the pressure of a busy service.
