Job Description

The following description includes but is not limited to the following needs for the position of
Chef:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the kitchen operations
  • Create and execute menus that meet the needs and preferences of customers
  • Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Consistently uphold and monitor the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation to ensure all areas are kept clean, safe and code compliant.
  • Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain a productive and efficient work environment
  • Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving customer satisfaction
  • Complete any additional tasks as assigned by the Chef or GM.
  • Work in partnership with the rest of the Food & Beverage management team to execute daily priorities.
  • Constantly communicate with GM and owner to keep record of staff, training, service, and food issues dealt with during shift.
Experience:
  • Proven management experience as a Chef
  • Strong culinary skills with a focus on quality, taste, and presentation
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Ability to effectively manage a team of kitchen staff
  • Experience in menu planning and cost control
Requirements:
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience in the food service industry
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
