Overview Join our dynamic food production team as a Sauce Specialist, where your expertise will help craft high-quality, flavorful sauces that delight our customers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the manufacturing process, ensure compliance with strict food safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. As a key player in our production line, you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our products while fostering a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities Manage and supervise the daily operations of sauce production, ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards in accordance with FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and GMP guidelines. Oversee sanitation and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and compliant manufacturing environment. Monitor and control packaging processes to ensure product integrity and compliance with industry standards. Implement and uphold safety standards in production areas, promoting a culture of safety among team members. Coordinate with quality assurance teams to conduct inspections, audits, and testing to verify product consistency and safety. Utilize SAP or similar systems for inventory management, production scheduling, and documentation accuracy. Lead managing production or assembly teams by providing clear managerial communication, training, and support for continuous improvement initiatives. Skills Extensive knowledge of food processing plant operations with experience in food & beverage production environments. Strong understanding of regulatory/legal compliance standards in food manufacturing, including FDA regulations and food safety management systems. Proven experience managing manufacturing teams within the food industry, emphasizing safety standards in production and sanitation practices. Familiarity with quality assurance processes, HACCP plans, GMP protocols, and food safety management systems. Proficiency in using SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for production tracking and inventory control. Ability to apply basic math skills accurately for recipe scaling, measurements, and quality calculations. Excellent managerial communication skills to lead teams effectively while ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
