Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to ensure a memorable dining experience Prepare and serve high-quality sushi and Japanese cuisine with precision and artistry Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient transactions Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food preparation areas and dining space Handle food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly during busy hours, and supporting host/hostess duties as needed Manage cash handling accurately and process payments efficiently using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Experience Proven experience as a server (at least 1 year Japanese restaurant experience) or sushi chef (at least 1 year Japanese restaurant experience) in a fast-paced restaurant or fine dining environment Strong knowledge of food service operations, including food preparation, presentation, and safety standards Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar for order processing and cashiering Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders simultaneously during busy shifts Prior experience working in a nightclub or high-energy hospitality setting is a plus Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items while maintaining guest satisfaction Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management Join our dynamic team where your skills will shine!
