In this role, you will be responsible for preparing authentic Korean dishes with precision and creativity, ensuring every meal meets high standards of quality and presentation. Your expertise will contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests, whether in a fine dining setting or catering environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents, develop new recipes, and uphold food safety standards in a fast-paced, energetic atmosphere. Responsibilities Prepare and cook authentic Korean cuisine, including traditional dishes and modern interpretations, maintaining consistency and flavor integrity. Plan menus that reflect authentic Korean flavors while accommodating dietary restrictions and preferences. Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, seasoning, and assembling ingredients efficiently and safely. Ensure all food handling practices adhere to strict food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils. Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and ensure timely meal delivery. Assist in catering events by preparing large quantities of Korean dishes while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience in Korean cuisine or a similar Asian culinary style, with a strong foundation in traditional recipes. Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating knowledge of special dietary needs. Extensive kitchen experience with skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, knife handling, and meal assembly. Familiarity with menu planning, food industry standards, and fine dining service is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Previous restaurant or catering experience that highlights your ability to work efficiently under pressure.
