Duties Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate. Assist with menu planning, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques to delight our guests. Manage food production processes, including food handling, preparation, and plating, adhering strictly to food safety sanitizing procedures. Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance on food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety protocols to foster a collaborative team environment. Oversee inventory management and control, including stock rotation, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize costs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety standards at all times. Support catering events and banquet services by coordinating food setup, serving, and breakdown activities with professionalism and efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in fine dining establishments or similar high-end culinary environments with a strong background in food production and presentation. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing kitchen teams or overseeing food service operations. Knowledge of dietary department practices and experience with dietary restrictions or special menus is highly desirable. Skilled in food safety procedures, sanitizing protocols, and proper food handling techniques to ensure compliance with health standards. Strong background in menu planning, catering, restaurant management, and shift management within the food industry. Excellent cooking skills complemented by expertise in kitchen management, inventory control, cost management, and food service management. Ability to lead by example with leadership qualities that motivate team members while fostering a positive hospitality environment.
