Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting cooks and chefs to ensure efficient food service operations. The ideal candidate is organized, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to food quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring food items. Follow recipes and preparation guidelines accurately. Assist with portioning and labeling food products. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area. Stock and replenish kitchen supplies and ingredients. Assist line cooks and chefs during food preparation and service. Properly store food and monitor inventory levels. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen, food preparation, or restaurant environment preferred. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Preferred Skills Knife handling and food preparation techniques. Experience with commercial kitchen equipment. Time management and multitasking abilities. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
