La Habra, CA Shibuya 107 Izakaya is looking for an experienced Sushi Chef to join our growing team. We are a neighborhood-focused Japanese izakaya committed to quality, consistency, and great team culture. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craft and works well in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. What We're Looking For Experienced Sushi Chef with solid knife skills and understanding of sushi preparation and presentation Team-oriented mindset - able to work efficiently under pressure while supporting teammates Positive and respectful attitude toward coworkers and guests Dependable and responsible - shows up on time, ready to perform every shift Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to maintain consistency and quality during high-volume service Responsibilities Prepare sushi, sashimi, and rolls with consistency and precision Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi bar Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service Contribute to a positive and professional team environment What We Offer Competitive pay (based on experience) Flexible scheduling Opportunities to grow with the company Supportive and team-focused work environment
