Full Job Description Overview:

A successful, high-volume independent Italian restaurant in Long Beach with roots in James Beard and Michelin-starred hospitality seeks a culinary leader to lead their successful culinary program. We aren't looking for someone to come in and "fix" or rebrand the identity. We are looking for a seasoned culinary leader to stabilize success. Their ideal Chef finds deep professional satisfaction in consistent execution, strong culinary systems, and a kitchen culture rooted in kindness rather than conflict. The Role As the Chef, you will inherit a beloved, high-performing menu. Your job is to protect that legacy while elevating operations. You are a collaborator, not a dictator.

Who You Are The Italian Specialist:

You have a deep, technical background in Italian cuisine (pasta extrusion, regional sauces, dough management).

The Seasoned Leader:

4+ years of experience leading high-volume full service, fine dining kitchens ($3M+). You know how to manage food costs and labor without cutting corners on quality.
