This dynamic role involves overseeing all aspects of food preparation, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation. As a key leader in our kitchen, you will inspire your team to craft innovative dishes while maintaining efficient operations that delight our guests. Your expertise in fine dining and food service management will drive the success of our culinary offerings and elevate our restaurant's reputation. Duties Lead and supervise the sushi and kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation Oversee food production processes, including ingredient preparation, cooking, plating, and serving, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish Manage inventory control and food safety protocols to minimize waste and ensure compliance with health regulations Plan menus that reflect culinary creativity while adhering to dietary requirements and customer preferences Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with attention to detail and timely execution Supervise shift management, including scheduling staff, monitoring performance, and providing ongoing training in food handling, safety, and hospitality standards Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment that promotes teamwork, safety, and efficiency Experience Proven experience as a sushi chef or kitchen chef with a strong background in Japanese cuisine and fine dining environments Demonstrated supervisory experience managing culinary teams in fast-paced settings Extensive knowledge of food production, food safety standards, inventory management, and catering operations Hands-on experience with menu planning, food preparation techniques, and kitchen management systems Familiarity with banquet experience and serving large groups or events is highly desirable Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members and foster a collaborative work environment Previous restaurant or hospitality experience emphasizing high-quality food service delivery Join us to bring your culinary talents to life in an energetic environment where innovation meets tradition!
