Senior Level Salary:
$90,000 - $110,000 per year Job Details - We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Chef de Cuisine to join our dynamic culinary team. This is a permanent, full-time position providing an excellent opportunity to showcase your culinary flair and leadership skills. You will be responsible for the entire kitchen operation, including menu creation, food preparation, and ensuring the highest quality of food presentation. You will also be leading a team of culinary professionals, inspiring them to achieve excellence and exceed guest expectations. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in menu creation and a strong passion for the culinary arts.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring consistent high-quality food production, in line with the restaurant's standards. 2. Develop innovative and exciting menus that meet the needs of our diverse clientele, ensuring a balance of creativity and customer appeal. 3. Manage all aspects of kitchen management including inventory, budgeting, and cost control. 4. Train, mentor, and inspire a team of culinary professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment. 5. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area. 6. Collaborate closely with the restaurant manager to enhance the dining experience for our guests. 7. Continually explore trends and evolve the menu, ensuring a vibrant and engaging dining experience. 8. Handle any food-related concerns or complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role in a high-volume, high-quality establishment. 2. Proven track record of menu creation, showcasing creativity and culinary expertise. 3. Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to train and motivate a culinary team. 4. Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. 5. Proficiency in cost control, inventory management, and budgeting. 6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle high-stress situations. 7. Knowledge of best practices for food handling and sanitation. 8. Culinary degree or equivalent experience is required. 9. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
