Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Chef to lead back-of-house operations at our exciting new Strawberry Village location. This is an opportunity to bring your culinary expertise and leadership to a team dedicated to delivering the distinctive Tartine experience where familiar comforts are reimagined in unexpected ways. You'll play a central role in shaping how our guests experience food, hospitality, and community.
About Tartine:
Tartine is known for its distinctive approach to hospitality and cuisine. We're opening a new chapter at Strawberry Village, and we're looking for a Chef who shares our values and can help establish a strong culinary foundation from day one. This is a chance to build something meaningful with a team that prioritizes both craft and care.
What You'll Do:
Lead and mentor back-of-house operations, setting the tone for quality, consistency, and teamwork Develop and execute menus that reflect our culinary philosophy and seasonal ingredients Manage food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure every dish meets our standards Collaborate with front-of-house and management teams to deliver seamless guest experiences Embody our hospitality values in every interaction with your team and the business Maintain food safety, inventory, and operational standards

You have significant professional kitchen experience and a track record of leading teams.
