  • Part-time Eighty-Eight Sushi & Ramen is a neighborhood favorite in Mountain View, CA, known for quality sushi and ramen made with care.
We're looking for a reliable, skilled Sushi Chef to join our kitchen team on a part-time basis, with consistent weekend availability required. Responsibilities Prepare and plate nigiri, maki, sashimi, and specialty rolls to standard Handle daily fish prep, portioning, and mise en place Maintain sushi bar cleanliness and proper food safety protocols Work efficiently during service alongside a small, collaborative team Follow established recipes and plating standards Requirements 2-4 years of sushi chef experience in a restaurant setting Strong knife skills and sushi rice technique Comfortable with nigiri, sashimi, rolls, and basic omakase-style preparation Valid Food Handler's Card (or ability to obtain before start) Available every Saturday and Sunday — this is a firm requirement Punctual, dependable, and a team player
