Full Job Description Sushi Chef Duties:
  • Prepare sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes according to recipes and customer preferences
  • Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and accommodating special requests
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sushi Chef
  • Knowledge of various sushi types and techniques
  • Ability to handle knives and other kitchen equipment safely
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Please note that this position may also involve assisting with catering events as needed.
