About Us:
We are a serene and supportive residential mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment program located in a beautiful setting. Our facility includes a small working ranch, and we believe in holistic healing that includes nutritious meals, animal care, and a peaceful, well-maintained environment.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and flexible Part-Time Chef/Cook. This unique role combines meal preparation for a small group with occasional property maintenance. Ideal for someone who loves animals, cooking, and contributing to a healing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen Duties:
Prepare healthy, delicious meals (lunch and/or dinner) for 4-6 people Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen Assist with meal planning and shopping lists
Property Duties:
Care for small animals (feeding, watering, egg collection, cleaning enclosures) Light property maintenance (trash, minor repairs, general upkeep) Alert leadership to any facility or animal concerns
Requirements:
Prior cooking experience (personal chef, cafeteria, or group home setting a plus) Comfortable with animals and outdoor tasks Physically able to lift 40 lbs and handle active work Dependable, positive, and solution-oriented Must pass background check and drug screening Why Join Us? Pay:
