This position is heavily focused on expo, line cooking, communication, and helping lead service alongside the chef team. Ideal for a strong line cook looking for their first real management opportunity, this role is fast-paced and hands-on, with opportunities to grow leadership, organization, and team management skills in a professional kitchen environment. Located in the heart of San Francisco, Spruce is a long-standing fine dining restaurant focused on refined California-French cuisine, hospitality, and seasonality. Our kitchen is fast-paced, detail-oriented, and team driven, with a strong focus on professionalism, growth, and creating an exceptional guest experience. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a respected restaurant while developing both culinary and leadership skills. Bacchus Management Group is a boutique Bay-Area based restaurant and hospitality business, specializing in food, wine, spirits, coffee, and consulting. Bacchus owns and oversees the operations of several of the most awarded restaurants in Northern California, including restaurants Spruce in San Francisco, Magic Donuts, La Connessa, and Louie's Original all in San Francisco, The Village Pub and Village Bakery in Woodside, and Selby's in Atherton. We also operate The Village Bakery in Woodside, and two Pizza Antica locations (Lafayette, San Jose). In addition to our full-service restaurants, Bacchus has an exclusive partnership with a private five-acre organic farm, a wholesale coffee and custom roasting business, a bespoke chocolate company, and key collaborations with international winemakers and spirits distillers. Bacchus was built on a foundation of warm and gracious hospitality and a belief that everyone should leave a Bacchus experience happier than when they arrived.
