As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing authentic and high-quality sushi dishes . This role offers you a chance to showcase your skills while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of sushi dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency, ensuring authentic flavors and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Select fresh ingredients for sushi preparation, including fish, vegetables, rice, and seaweed. Manage inventory levels of supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service and uphold the restaurant's quality standards. Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety. Experience Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar culinary role specializing in Japanese cuisine. Strong knowledge of sushi techniques, knife skills, and ingredient sourcing. Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with excellent time management skills. Familiarity with health codes, safety standards, and sanitation practices related to food preparation. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in culinary arts with a focus on seafood or Japanese cuisine is preferred.
