As an integral part of our culinary team, you will bring your expertise, creativity, and leadership skills to develop menu offerings, oversee food preparation, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties Lead the preparation and presentation of traditional and contemporary Indian dishes, ensuring authentic flavors and high-quality standards. Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and assistants, fostering a collaborative environment focused on excellence and efficiency. Manage inventory control, including ordering ingredients, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Oversee food safety compliance by maintaining hygiene standards, proper handling procedures, and sanitation practices in accordance with health regulations. Plan menus that highlight regional Indian cuisines while catering to dietary restrictions and customer preferences. Coordinate with catering teams for special events, banquets, and private functions, ensuring seamless service delivery. Oversee kitchen operations during shifts, including food production, quality control, and timely service to ensure customer satisfaction. Implement training programs for staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and customer service standards. Maintain a vibrant work environment by demonstrating leadership in kitchen management, team motivation, and conflict resolution. Qualifications Proven experience working as an Indian Chef with strong culinary skills in Indian cuisine; fine dining experience is highly desirable. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing kitchen teams in fast-paced environments. Extensive knowledge of food production processes, menu planning, and food service management. Familiarity with banquet operations, catering services, and large-scale food handling procedures. Strong understanding of inventory management, cost control measures, and kitchen safety standards. Experience with dietary accommodations and dietary department procedures is a plus. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and oversee shift management effectively. Background in hospitality or restaurant management with a focus on food quality and customer satisfaction. Knowledge of food industry trends related to Indian cuisine and culinary innovation.
