We are looking for a skilled and passionate Dim Sum / Pastry Chef to join our kitchen team. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of Chinese dim sum and pastries, including but not limited to: 包子、饺子、烧麦、小笼包、葱油饼、酥点、面条 (steamed buns, dumplings, shumai, xiao long bao, scallion pancakes, flaky pastries, hand-pulled noodles) Mix, knead, and proof dough; prepare fillings to recipe standards Maintain consistent quality, portion size, and presentation Keep the workstation clean and follow all food safety / sanitation standards (health code compliance) Assist with menu development and seasonal specials Requirements Minimum 2+ years of experience as a dim sum or pastry chef in a Chinese restaurant Proficient in dough making, folding techniques, and steaming/frying methods Able to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Food Handler's Card (or willing to obtain) Bilingual Mandarin/English a plus, but not required Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $20/hour (negotiable based on experience) Tips share included — additional earnings on top of hourly wage H-1B visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates Staff meals provided Stable schedule with consistent hours Friendly team environment with opportunities for growth and advancement Join everSpring Modern Chinese and become part of a passionate team dedicated to serving authentic, high-quality Chinese cuisine.
