Job Description

Position Summary:
RMG Management, Inc. is seeking a creative and reliable Private Chef to prepare, cook, serve and clean-up lunch service for up to 10 employees daily Monday-Friday. This position is ideal for an experienced candidate seeking stable, part-time work with opportunities for skill development.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and adjust healthy recipes and weekly menus to include soup, salad, protein, vegetable, starch and fresh fruit for dessert. Prepare healthy foods from scratch including soups, sauces, and salad dressings - based on food allergies, preferences, and dietary restrictions for the owners of the company (ex. no onions or garlic may be used in any food items including but not limited to sauces, spices, and salad dressings) Create menu by Wednesday afternoon and fill out the grocery list by Thursday afternoon for the following week. Check the quality of both raw and cooked food products to ensure standards are met. Check equipment to ensure it is in good working order. Load/unload the dishwasher. Hand wash any dishes, pots, pans, and/or equipment parts that do not go into the dishwasher. Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen including the preparation, cooking and storage areas, including drawers, chef refrigerators, freezer, cabinets and handles. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
At least 3 years of recent chef experience; Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday and to move continuously during the work hours; Follow all food handling, safety, and health department standards, including wearing gloves; Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision; Ability to follow instructions; Organization & Time Management Skills; Valid California Food Handler Card; Able to lift up to 20 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation; and Ability to stand up to 6 hours per day. Ability to reach & lift above and below shoulder height, walk, bend, twist, squat, push, pull, grasp and carry. Excellent interpersonal skills. Proof of eligibility to work in the United States without need for sponsorship. English language proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams. Office environment in Woodland Hills, CA Monday to Friday 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a 30 minute unpaid meal period from 11:30 a.m. to Noon. Salary $27.00 to $33.00 per hour DOE
